Target is keeping its eye on the summer sale bullseye with its own seven-day shopping event to rival Amazon Prime Day. The Minneapolis-based mass retailer’s Circle Week runs from July 7-13, five days longer than Amazon’s 48-hour event.

Available to members of Target’s free-to-join Circle loyalty program, the weeklong savings event promises up to 50 percent off storewide and is among the Prime Day alternative sales hoping to attract discount-seeking shoppers away from Amazon this fall.

Target’s summer sale includes 50 percent off a Target Circle 360 subscription ($49 for the first year; regularly $99), which offers access to Target’s unlimited same-day delivery with Shipt. Additionally, members can access Shipt Marketplace to shop from hundreds of retail partners, like CVS, Lowe’s, PetSmart and more.

When Is Target Circle Week 2024?

Target Circle Week starts Sunday, July 7, and ends Saturday, July 13, and takes place in stores, online at Target.com and on the retailer’s app.

How to Shop Target Circle Week 2024

Unlike Amazon Prime Day, you don’t need to buy a membership to shop the Target Circle Week sale — the retailer’s Circle program is free to join and includes access to all of the deals. That means it’s also not required to have a Target RedCard debit or credit card in order to shop the weeklong event, although cardholders do get the extra discounts.

Alongside the discounts of up to 50 percent, shoppers who spend $50 on home care products will receive a $15 Target gift card, and shoppers who spend $40 on select products at Ulta Beauty at Target will receive a $10 Target gift card.

Target Circle members also qualify for bonus earnings during the seven-day shopping event. The retailer’s convenient same-day services allow you to stock up on web-only deals at home for in-store or Drive Up pickup, so you can save time when you fill your IRL cart on promos available in stores only. Another option is to get your order delivered via a Shipt membership, which is included in a Target Circle 360 subscription that will be offered for 50 percent off during Target Circle Week ($49 for the first year; regularly $99).
