Glastonbury festival 2025 weather forecast – latest

With gates set to open on Wednesday, check out the latest weather forecast for Glastonbury 2025 below.

The legendary festival will return to Worthy Farm between June 25 and 29, ahead of a fallow year in 2026. Headliners are Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo on the Pyramid Stage, while Loyle Carner, Charli XCX and The Prodigy will perform on the Other Stage.

Other big names across the weekend include Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, RAYE, Wolf Alice, Doechii, St. Vincent, Deftones, The Libertines, Wet Leg, Weezer, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Future Islands, JADE, TV On The Radio, Self Esteem, CMAT, Blossoms and Turnstile.

Rod Stewart will be taking on the coveted Legend Slot on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon, and has already revealed that the set – which is setting him back over £300,000 – will see a reunion with Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood.

The full line-up was shared by organisers at the start of the month, and includes a number of ‘TBA’ secret slots, as well as some brutal clashes.

Now, before you get packing your bags for this year’s edition, check out the latest weather forecast below.

The BBC Weather and Met Office forecast for Glastonbury 2025 is:

Wednesday June 25
For the opening day, festivalgoers can expect sunny intervals, changing to cloudy in the afternoon. There is a 50 per cent risk of showers between 4pm and 6pm, with further light rain a possibility in the evening and overnight. Peak temperatures are at 25ºC, with lows of 15ºC.

Thursday June 26
Day two is predicted to be overcast, changing to sunny intervals by late morning. There is a 40 per cent chance of rain between 4am and 10am, with that likelihood falling over the course of the morning. Temperatures peak at 22ºC with lows of 15ºC.

Friday June 27
The first day of music on Worthy Farm is predicted to follow a similar pattern to Thursday, with clouds changing to sunny intervals by lunchtime. There is no more than a 20 per cent chance of rain, with temperatures peaking at 23ºC and lows of 15ºC.

Saturday June 28
A similar story for Saturday too, with sunny intervals breaking through the clouds over the course of the morning. Once again, the chance of rainfall is not forecast as being higher than 10 per cent for the whole day. Temperatures peak at 23ºC, with lows of 15ºC

Sunday June 29
The final day shows temperatures peaking at 25ºC with lows of 15ºC. Again, punters can expect sunny intervals with a gentle breeze, with less than a 10 per cent chance of rain throughout the day.

The past two years of Glasto have seen hot and sunny conditions, and 2023 saw festival organisers issue advice on staying safe as temperatures reached the high 20s. The last time significant rain and mud hit Glastonbury was back in 2016.

The artists playing Glasto this year have been gradually announced by organisers over the past few months, and in January, Neil Young was announced as headliner in an unconventional way – with the Canadian singer-songwriter saying that he had initially pulled out of Glasto ’25 due to it being “a corporate turn-off”, owing to the festival’s partnership with the BBC.

Young later backtracked, however, citing “an error in the information received”. It’ll mark his second time topping the bill at the farm, following his debut appearance in 2009.

There’s a strong number of Glasto first-timers this time around, too. These include Alanis Morissette, Noah Kahan, Lola Young, Myles Smith (winner of this year’s BRITs Rising Star award), Busta Rhymes, Brandi Carlile and Gary Numan.

Recently, organiser Emily Eavis spoke out about the changes that will be implemented on-site for 2025. These include making more space for punters by selling “a few thousand less” tickets than usual, expanding the space at The Other Stage, introducing a new Dragon’s Tail area to Shangri-La and more.
