- Plus, find out what’s in store for the Christmas episode as we break down New York Comic Con reveals.
The stars of CBS‘s comedy Eternally Yours came out in full force to celebrate the series’ launch as they put on an exciting panel at New York Comic Con.
Ed Weeks, Allegra Edwards, Jaren Lewison, Helen J. Shen, Parker Young, and Rose Abdoo joined showrunner Joe Wiseman to tease fans with Season 1 reveals and what’s to come, especially after the premiere’s twist ending involving Lewison’s Max. In addition to showing attendees an exclusive clip for an upcoming episode, the team revealed some exciting guest stars set to appear in forthcoming installments.
As revealed during the panel, Tim Meadows and Asif Ali are set to guest star in single episodes, joining previously announced guest Jeff Hiller, who will feature across several episodes. Following his run with CBS’s comedy DMV, Meadows steps into the role of Dr. Edwards, described as a wise-cracking vampire dentist who treats the Blythe family.
Meanwhile, Ali, who has guest-starred on Wiseman’s other comedy Ghosts, will play Igor, a humorless bureaucratic vamp who takes his duties as a Vampire Council member a little too seriously. Another juicy reveal was learning that Phyllis (Abdoo) will be clued into the vampiric status of her family after repeated mind wipes.

As for special episodes, viewers can look forward to a Christmas installment where they’ll discover that Jesse (Young) is Christmas-obsessed. Meanwhile, Charles (Weeks) will have to navigate a Secret Santa exchange at his office where he is still trying to make more human friends with the help of his wife Liz (Edwards).
The episode will also include Hiller’s Aldrict, an old-world vampire who has crossed paths with Liz several times over the centuries and is described as a bit of a troublemaker.
