Freevee’s Shutting Down — Its 9 Best Shows, Ranked

Amazon will soon be free of Freevee, its ad-supported streaming service. As the company announced last week, it’s phasing out the Freevee branding and migrating Freevee content to its Prime Video platform, where those offerings will still be offered free (with ads) to non-subscribers.

Freevee launched as IMDb Freedive in January 2019, rebranded as IMDb TV that June, and switched to its current name in April 2022. And over those last few years, Freevee has built a sizable library of original content — including an Emmy contender, revivals of beloved television shows, and otherwise hard-to-find film and TV titles.
