Is There a New Episode of ‘The Floor’ Tonight?

The Floor will activate the randomizer and light up the floor on Wednesday, but have fans seen this episode before? Season 6 is a season filled with champions of all kinds. Here’s what to know about the season.

Season 6 technically aired its season premiere episode on Sunday, September 13, after the NFL kickoff. The season premiere was advertised as Wednesday, September 23, and that is still true.

The episode that aired on the 13th will be the same episode that is airing on September 23rd, so if you missed it the first time, be sure to tune in. But if you already saw it and you think these players and duels look familiar, it is because they are.

Fans will see host Rob Lowe introduce the contestants, talk about the new advantage, the Power Shot, and see the season start off with 100 contestants. But don’t worry because this is a one-time thing. From here until the end of the season, The Floor will air on Wednesday nights for the rest of the season, as it typically does.

This season is filled with champions from reality TV shows, beauty pageants, food-eating contestants, and more. Find out who will win the $250,000 on Season 6, beginning September 23.

“We learn something new each year, producing this show, and it’s always a balancing act of not breaking something that works great, but also improving it and making it fresh. And every year I say it, and every year it’s true: This season’s even better than the last,” Lowe told us.

The Fox game show airs at 8pm and it should air at the same time the whole season. If you don’t want a repeat of the premiere episode, wait to tune into Fox until 9pm when a new season of 99 to Beat airs right after for a full night of game shows.

The Floor has been renewed for Season 7 as well, which will most likely air in early 2027. No details have been released for that as of yet, but Lowe has said that he would love to see an all-stars or juniors version of the game, so stay tuned.
