Justin Timberlake Expected to Plead to Lesser Offense in Sag Harbor Drunken Driving Case
Justin Timberlake is expected to take a plea deal after being charged, in June, with driving while intoxicated, in Sag Harbor, TMZ and The Associated Press report. The singer will reportedly plead guilty to the lesser offense of driving while ability impaired. The penalty is a fine between $300 and $500, according to TMZ.
Timberlake is due at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on Friday, September 13. The Suffolk County district attorney’s office “anticipates Mr. Timberlake will enter a plea,” a representative from the office told Pitchfork.
When reached by Pitchfork, Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., offered no comment.
