Kesha joins Reneé Rapp for a cover of ‘TiK ToK’ at Coachella 2024

Reneé Rapp brought out Kesha for a cover of the latter’s hit ‘Tik Tok’ during her debut set at this year’s edition of Coachella.

While taking over the Outdoor Theatre at the annual Californian music and arts festival, Rapp took a moment to introduce Kesha by saying “Ladies and gentlemen, this I think is the hottest person on the earth. Everybody put your fucking hands together for Kesha.”

The ‘Die Young’ singer made her way to the stage, sporting a white tank top with the phrase “I Am Mother” printed on it, denim shorts and white cowboy boots.

The two then performed a rendition of her viral hit, changing the original opening line from “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy” to “Wake up in the morning like fuck P. Diddy”.

During the start of her set, Rapp was introduced to the stage by the original cast of The L Word.

Katherine Moennig, Leisha Hailey, Jennifer Beals and Ilene Chaiken made their way to the stage to announce that they were the cast members of what happens to be Rapp’s “favourite show” and proceeded to introduce the singer.

Rapp then showed up, kicking off her set with ‘Talk Too Much’. Her set decor of two pairs of scissors took fans by storm with one fan tweeting: “Renee Rapp having giant scissors as a stage piece is so fucking funny and so her.”

Elsewhere, Towa Bird also joined Rapp on stage during ‘Tummy Hurts’. The musician previously served as the pop singer’s opening act for her ‘Snow Hard Feelings’ tour. Bird provided an electrifying guitar solo during the performance of the track.
