Lil Prince Charmin’ will be featured at the NOLA Idol Finalist Showcase hosted by Q93’s Wild Wayne on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024.
Lil Prince Charmin’ has been entertaining crowds since the age of 4 after covering songs by the Godfather of Soul James Brown and then turning his focus towards the King of Pop Michael Jackson. His crushing dedication to music and his own production of his songs holds a powerful message to today’s love and unity and positivity to our youth. His songs have reached as far as Africa and as close as opening for Tamar Braxton and Boosie Badazz. He was even invited to perform at a birthday bash by host Bootsy Collins in Augusta, Ga. He is the proof that chivalry is not dead. He has limitless energy, and the attitude that will leave him to his genesis of music, and his eternal destination.
Lil Prince Charmin’ opened for Tamar Braxton and Boosie Badazz at the Westbank Heritage Festival as well as teaming up with DJ Spin, Alvin Juggie McMillan Jr, Partners-N-Crime, DJ Jubilee, and Baby Boy da Prince for the Friends of Choppa Showcase in honor of Choppa Style at Nola’s Fried Chicken Festival.
Now at age 12, Lil Prince Charmin’ is a producer, recording artist writing his own rhymes and music, musical animation creator, and phenomenal live entertainer on a mission to becoming known as the positive vibe so desperately needed for our youth…. And proving that chivalry is back! He cares, he dares and he shares his out of the box creativity and talent in an overwhelmingly dedicated fashion with a tapestry of songs that keeps you moving’.
The showcase celebrates the culmination of a citywide talent search and highlights some of the most remarkable vocalists in New Orleans. Under the guidance of NORD Artist-in-Residence and Grammy Award-winning musician Irvin Mayfield, NOLA Idol has provided a platform for aspiring artists to showcase their talent while engaging the broader community in New Orleans’ storied musical tradition.
The evening will feature stunning performances by the finalists, accompanied by Irvin Mayfield’s world-touring band. Special guest appearances by New Orleans music icons Cyril Neville and David Batiste will add an extra layer of excitement. Hosting the evening is the celebrated radio personality Wild Wayne.
