For her highly-anticipated collaboration with Mango, Victoria Beckham took summer style notes from La Piscine — the 1969 psychological thriller starring the late fashion icon Jane Birkin alongside Romy Schneider, Alain Delon and Maurice Ronet.

Spanning womenswear, jewelry, footwear and accessories, the Victoria Beckham x Mango capsule collection ($80-$400) blends Posh Spice’s signature British tailoring with the Spanish fast-fashion brand’s modern aesthetic, with a splash of 1970s silhouettes and lingerie-inspired touches. Think minimalist linen-blend blazers and flared-leg trousers with bold shoulders and clean lines, silk-blend button-down shirts, flowy spaghetti strap maxi dresses with decorative stitching, and lace-trimmed silk tanks and matching shorts, to name a few. Pieces come in neutral hues such as white, black, cream and ivory with touches of pale pink, light blue and peach.

The 55-piece collection also includes mixed-metal accessories, such as chunky chain necklaces, link bracelets, chain earrings and belts; oversized and mini tote bags in natural woven fibers and silk; and leather heels and sandals in black and brown.

To showcase the collab, Mango tapped legendary fashion editor Emmanuelle Alt and photographer David Sims to dream up a campaign that reflects La Piscine‘s sultry French poolside aesthetic (minus the not-so-happy storyline).
